【摘要】:Thedeterminationofthetotalvolume%ofsaturates,olefins,andaromaticsinpetroleumfractionsisimportantincharacterizingthequalityofpetroleumfractionsasgasolineblendingcomponentsandasfeedstocatalyticreformingprocesses.Thisinformationisalsoimportantincharacterizingpetroleumfractionsandproductsfromcatalyticreformingandfromthermalandcatalyticcrackingasblendingcomponentsformotorandaviationfuels.Thisinformationisalsoimportantasameasureofthequalityoffuels,suchasspecifiedinSpecificationD1655.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofhydrocarbontypesovertheconcentrationrangesfrom5to99volume%aromatics,0.3to55volume%olefins,and1to95volume%saturatesinpetroleumfractionsthatdistillbelow315C.Thistestmethodmayapplytoconcentrationsoutsidetheseranges,buttheprecisionhasnotbeendetermined.Samplescontainingdark-coloredcomponentsthatinterfereinreadingthechromatographicbandscannotbeanalyzed.1.2Thistestmethodisintendedforusewithfullboilingrangeproducts.Cooperativedatahaveestablishedthattheprecisionstatementdoesnotapplytonarrowboilingpetroleumfractionsnearthe315Climit.Suchsamplesarenotelutedproperly,andresultsareerratic.1.3Theapplicabilityofthistestmethodtoproductsderivedfromfossilfuelsotherthanpetroleum,suchascoal,shale,ortarsands,hasnotbeendetermined,andtheprecisionstatementmayormaynotapplytosuchproducts.1.4Thistestmethodhastwoprecisionstatementsdepictedintables.Thefirsttableisapplicabletounleadedfuelsthatdonotcontainoxygenatedblendingcomponents.Itmayormaynotapplytoautomotivegasolinescontainingleadantiknockmixtures.Thesecondtableisapplicabletooxygenateblended(forexample,MTBE,ethanol)automotivesparkignitionfuelsampleswithaconcentrationrangeof13-40volumepercentaromatics,4-33volumepercentolefins,and45-68volumepercentsaturates.1.5Theoxygenatedblendingcomponents,methanol,ethanol,methyl-tert-butylether(MTBE),tert-amylmethylether(TAME),andethyl-tert-butylether(ETBE),donotinterferewiththedeterminationofhydrocarbontypesatconcentrationsnormallyfoundincommercialblends.Theseoxygenatedcomponentsarenotdetectedsincetheyelutewiththealcoholdesorbent.Otheroxygenatedcompoundsshallbeindividuallyverified.Whensamplescontainingoxygenatedblendingcomponentsareanalyzed,correcttheresultstoatotal-samplebasis.1.6ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Note18212;Forthedeterminationofolefinsbelow0.3volume%,othertestmethodsareavailable,suchasTestMethodD2710.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Forspecifichazardstatements,seeSection7,8,1and10.5.
